Recruitment

Recruitment and selection should be conducted in a uniform manner by trained personnel and as required by the Code of Virginia.

Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis for the positions of Emergency Communications Officer and Police Officer within the Department.  Applications will remain active for six (6) months after acceptance.  All active applicants will be notified of an active hiring process during that time period.

The City of Radford is approximately ten (10) square miles, located in the heart of the New River Valley
