LOST & FOUND

Radford Transit does not take responsibility for items lost or stolen on transit vehicles or its facilities.  All items recovered are kept at Radford Transit's Office.  

Inquires about lost items can be made by calling Radford Transit office at 540-831-5911.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Per Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, service animals are allowed for persons with disabilities. Service animals are to be kept on a leash or in an approved pet container.

CUSTOMER CARRY-ONS

Unsecured objects brought onto buses by passengers, such as luggage, shopping carts, coolers, baby strollers, and even mobility devices, can become extremely dangerous projectiles in the event of a sudden stop if they are not properly secured, and cause serious injury to other passengers or the operator. All carry-on objects must be secured or stowed behind or under passenger seats.  Object should not be allowed to block the aisle or stairway of the bus.

Passengers are not permitted to bring the following items onto Radford Transit buses:

  • Large/oversized objects
  • Weapons/Ammunition (except as permitted by law)
  • Hazardous, explosive, corrosive, or flammable materials

MOBILITY DEVICES

All Radford Transit buses are accessible to persons with disabilities.  Let your driver know if you need assistance getting on and off the bus.  To ensure all safe travels, all mobility devises are secured through the use of a four point tie down system.

STROLLERS

Strollers must be folded and stowed during the bus ride.  Properly stowed strollers shall not obstruct the bus aisles.
