Racquetball Courts

Facts & Regulations
  • Doors must be closed when racquetball courts are in use.
  • Nonmarking shoes are required on the floor.
  • Proper eye guards are strongly recommended.
  • Reservations for racquetball courts may be made up to 2 days in advance. Reservations may be made over the phone during normal operation hours. Center identification card is required to make reservation.
  • All reservations are for 1 hour periods and must be made on the hour. A 10 minute grace period will be followed for holding court reservation.
  • If you are unable to keep your reservation, the Radford Recreation Center must be notified prior to your appointment time. If there are 2 “no shows” in 1 month it will result in forfeiture of your right to make a court reservation for a 1 month period.
  • Rackets, balls, and safety glasses are available and may be checked out at the recreation center circulation desk.
  • All racquetball players must report to the recreation center circulation desk to check in before entering the courts.
  • Children under the 6th grade may not use the racquetball courts unless playing with a parent or adult.
  • Drinks and/or food will not be allowed on the racquetball courts.
  • Courts are to be used for racquetball only, unless preapproved by recreation center.
