Sheriff Armentrout believes that the D.A.R.E. program has a positive influence on our children at a critical point in their development. Unfortunately, the police department was unable to continue funding for the program.
Drug Education
In an effort to maintain this critical program, Sheriff Armentrout sent a deputy to DARE training to become a certified instructor. The Sheriff’s Office has assumed responsibility for teaching D.A.R.E. in the elementary school.
