About the Sheriff's Office

Duties
The Radford City Sheriff’s office is a criminal justice agency with 3 core duties:

1. We provide security to the courts and the associated support facilities
2. We are responsible for the service of all legal papers issued by from the courts.
3. We must insure the secure transportation of persons in custody to include inmates of local correctional facilities and persons in custody under mental health orders.
