Appalachian Regional Studies Center

This center houses over 1,000 field collection projects on Appalachian literature and folklore.

 In addition to periodicals and books, there is a growing collection of recordings, videotapes, slides, and photographs documenting everything from folk life to the literary, media, sociologic, and anthropologic culture of the Appalachian region. There is also a growing collection of audio and videotapes, CD’s, DVD’s, record albums, and selected print materials.
