Radford Public Library wants to help you stay in, maintain social distance, and stay safe during COVID-19! If Books, Printing Services, DVDs, Music CDs, Audiobooks and Magazines can help you during this time, then Grab & Go is for you! Simply place items on hold, and then we’ll work with you to schedule a pickup time! We also offer Grab & Go Prints with Princh services on Monday from 10 am until 7:30 pm, or Tuesday - Saturday from 10 am to 4:45 pm.
Please follow these steps if you would like to pick up items from RPL:
1.Place items on hold!
If you would like to pick up library materials (books, DVDs, etc.), you can place them on hold ahead of time either using the library’s online catalog, or the myLibro app! (available for free in your device’s app store)
*You can do this any day through the library’s online card catalog, by using the myLibro app (free in your device’s app store), or by calling the library at (540) 731-3621 during business hours. You will only be able to pick up your items at your appointed time.
*To place holds online, please use the search box below, then sign into the library’s online catalog with your card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your card number) to place holds! You need this same information to use online library resources like Hoopla and OverDrive!
2. Call us at 731-3621 to schedule pick up between 10:00 am and 4:45 pm.
Schedule your pickup time by calling the library at (540) 731-3621, or by using the myLibro app! Be ready to verify your account information at this time with your library card number.
3. You will receive instructions over the phone for how to pick up your books at the appointed time.
We will place your hold items outside of the library entrance (by the parking lot) for you to pick up so as to limit person-to-person contact. You will have a 10 minute scheduled window to arrive and pick up your holds. Holds will be in a bag with your name on it!
4. Go home! Stay safe! Be less bored! Social distance! Enjoy your books, movies, audiobooks, and more!
